Owning a welcome service is a great way to serve our communities, local businesses and newcomers.  Many of us have developed long-lasting, deep friendships not only with local business owners, but also with (former) new residents. 

Being self-employed offers work schedule flexibility and increased family time.  The abilty to pursue volunteer work, hobbies or other special interests is also a plus--things that are often not possible for those working an  8:00 – 5:00 job. 

You become an instrumental facilitator in your community--connecting local business establishments with eager-to-explore new residents!
