WSI members may suggest topics to be discussed at conference. They include items such as finding new vendors & sources, selling & marketing techniques, adding additional services, staffing issues, growing your business, overcoming obstacles & challenges, new ideas which helped your business, and much much more. Many new insights are gained.
An agenda is established prior to conference, but it is acknowledged that good, meaningful, impromptu discussion on topics that interest the group can take precedence over an agenda timetable. Break-out sessions, where members can choose to participate in the topic/subject matter that interests them most, are also popular.
Even meal breaks are pleasantly productive! Members often comment on how meal-time conversations have lead to treasured "aha" insights separate from general conference dialogue.
Most members find these conferences far exceed their expectations and the costs to attend are minimal.
