Conferences are held annually--usually in mid to late October. Any WSI member may volunteer to host a conference, either in their home city or close by. Recent conferences were held in Minneapolis, Pismo Beach, Chicago, Phoenix, Milwaukee, & San Antonio.
The upcoming conference will be held in Grand Junction, CO mid October of 2014. Check back for further details or contact our membership chair under the membership tab on this website.
Activities always begin with a welcome reception Thursday evening … the perfect time for "regulars" to catch up on established long-distance friendships while at the same time offering a special welcome to new WSI members.
Friday starts with a continental breakfast followed by a short business meeting. Conference proceedings occupy the rest of the day, with a break for lunch. Friday night dinner is a group affair.
Saturday follows the same basic format, ending with a banquet and installation of new officers.
Over the years, a large number of conference attendees have indicated that the benefits which they took away from the conference far exceeded their modest dues investment. In fact, several indicated their investment was returned three-fold within the first month after the conference--upon employing some of the new ideas into their business. And the excitement and morale boost that follows is priceless!
Note: An additional benefit is that many members plan additonal personal vacation days in the host city before or after the conference.
